Art is a Scream of Freedom - FAKTOR Launches an International Erasmus+ Initiative to Promote Mental Well-Being Through Art🎨

🌍 FAKTOR a Jövő Közösségéért Egészségügyi és Sportegyesület is proud to coordinate the Erasmus+ Mobility of Youth Workers project "Art is a Scream of Freedom!" (Project Code: 2024-3-HU01-KA153-YOU-000265010), taking place in Budapest, Hungary, from 8 to 16 May 2025. The project brings together dedicated youth workers and partner organisations from Hungary, Bulgaria, Spain, Latvia, and Türkiye with a shared commitment to improving mental health awareness through creativity, non-formal education, and international cooperation. As the coordinating organisation, FAKTOR is delighted to host this inspiring mobility and facilitate a meaningful exchange of knowledge and experience. 🎨

The project was designed in response to the increasing mental health challenges faced by young people and youth workers across Europe. Rising levels of depression, anxiety, social isolation, and economic uncertainty have highlighted the need for innovative educational approaches that support emotional well-being. Through this mobility, participants will explore how artistic expression, creative hobbies, and art therapy techniques can become practical tools for strengthening resilience, encouraging self-expression, and improving the quality of youth work within their local communities.

During the mobility, participants will take part in a comprehensive programme combining workshops, discussions, practical artistic activities, intercultural learning experiences, and collaborative sessions. The project aims to promote the wider acceptance of art therapy, strengthen youth workers' professional competences, encourage active citizenship and volunteering, increase support for young people with fewer opportunities, and enhance the visibility and long-term impact of the Erasmus+ Programme. By creating an inclusive international learning environment, FAKTOR seeks to foster sustainable partnerships that continue beyond the project's lifetime.
