A Collaborative Effort to Raise Awareness Among Youth

We are proud to announce that the “On the Road to Freedom: Empowerment Against Addiction” project, an Erasmus+ KA210-YOU initiative, has been officially approved by the Turkish National Agency under the reference number 2024-1-TR01-KA210-YOU-000250976.

The project is coordinated by Toprak Çocuk Eğitim ve Dayanışma Derneği (Türkiye), in partnership with Centrul Pentru Tineret Mileniu (Romania) and FAKTOR a Jövő Közösségéért Egészségügyi és Sportegyesület (Hungary). Together, we are working to promote awareness about substance addiction, identify risk factors, and empower young people to make informed, healthy life choices.

Project Goals

The main objectives of the project are:

• To raise awareness among youth and educators about the dangers of substance addiction.

• To inform society about the negative consequences of addiction.

• To identify and understand the risk factors that lead to addiction.

• To strengthen self-esteem and emotional intelligence among young people.

• To promote healthy alternative activities and community participation.

• To foster international cooperation and share effective prevention strategies.

Through these efforts, the project aims to create a strong foundation for prevention, helping young people build resilience and make conscious choices that support a healthy lifestyle.
