Active Life, Active Future (Project No: 2023-3-AT01-KA152-YOU-000177084) was implemented as an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange in Klagenfurt, Austria, between 2–8 May 2024.

Participants took part in the Fun Run Social activity, which combined physical exercise with interactive team-building exercises designed to strengthen communication and cooperation. The activity encouraged participants to engage with one another in an energetic environment, reinforcing the idea that sport can be an effective tool for building trust, improving motivation and creating stronger social bonds within an international group. Through interaction, dialogue and teamwork, participants enhanced their communication skills while experiencing the positive impact of physical activity on well-being.

Creativity and problem-solving were further developed during the Mindful Cube Workshop, where participants collaborated to generate innovative ideas related to sport and healthy living. By exchanging opinions, producing creative solutions and working collectively, they improved their critical thinking, teamwork and decision-making skills. The workshop demonstrated how non-formal education methods can encourage participants to approach challenges from different perspectives while increasing confidence in expressing original ideas.

Practical learning continued through a Stakeholder Visit, where participants met with local stakeholders to learn about community initiatives promoting sport, health and social participation. Direct dialogue with experienced professionals provided valuable insights into local practices and highlighted the importance of cooperation between organisations, institutions and young people. Observation, question-and-answer and dialogue methods enabled participants to better understand how local partnerships contribute to healthier and more active communities while strengthening their communication and analytical skills.

Intercultural learning remained a key element of the programme during the Culture Night, where participants introduced traditional sports from their countries through collaborative presentations and creative documentary activities. By sharing cultural traditions and learning about the sporting heritage of partner countries, participants strengthened intercultural awareness, presentation skills and mutual respect. Reflection sessions and structured feedback activities concluded the learning process by encouraging participants to evaluate the educational programme, share constructive suggestions and contribute to the continuous improvement of the project, reinforcing a culture of active participation and lifelong learning.
